Rabbit Holes of Early Medieval Scotland has a new home

Hello! This is just a quick post to let you know that I've moved my blog, Rabbit Holes of Early Medieval Scotland, from Substack to Ghost.

If you were an email subscriber to my blog on Substack, you don't need to do anything. You'll continue to receive posts in your inbox as I publish them, but they'll come from Ghost rather than Substack. And if you click to read the post online, the link will bring you to Ghost instead of Substack.

Why I've moved

Substack was a great place to share my research into the early medieval Moray Firthlands, and I spent three happy years there.

However, the platform was becoming home to more and more accounts spreading hate speech, and the Substack leadership has actively chosen to welcome those accounts. So, like many others, I've taken the difficult decision to leave.

Thank you very much for reading and engaging with my research so far, and I look forward to sharing more of my 'rabbit holes' with you soon.
